Arabia Finland’s Moomin Figurines date back to the 1950’s. The first miniatures were sculpted by Tove Jansson’s mother, Signe Hammarsten-Jansson. Decades later, in the early 1990s, Tuulikki Pietila continued the tradition and designed new Moomin sculptures for Arabia on basis of original drawings by Tove Jansson.
