The Moomins and their friends live in Moominvalley. Once every winter the scary Lady of the Cold comes to Moominvalley. Those are the times when most of the inhabitants of Moominvalley keep away, hiding to keep safe from the Lady; looking the Lady in the eyes will immediately lead to freezing. The Groke, in turn, is a chilly character who freezes everything it touches. Rather dangerous by accident than bad, the Groke leads a lonely life in the Lonely Mountains.
